Digiloker is an App provided by the Government of India to provide repository services to the citizens. You can use the app to get the digital version of all the documents like Aadhar card, PAN Card, vaccine certificate, driving license, etc.
The following are the steps using which you can download the DigiLocker app and get your Aadhar card using the app-
- Download the DigiLocker app on your smartphone and open the app followed by entering your mobile number
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which you’ll have to enter followed by clicking on the “Verify” button
- Now, set your username and password for the DigitLocker Account and your DigiLocker account will be successfully created
- Now, enter your 12-digit Aadhar number and click on the submit button
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which you’ll have to enter
- After verifying the OTP, your DigiLocker Account will be successfully created and you can find your Aadhar card listed under the Issued tab
Aadhaar Card Download Using Masked Aadhaar Card
Masked Aadhaar Card is a security feature provided by UIDAI to Aadhar subscribers. The difference between a Masked Adhar card and a normal Aadhar card is that the first 8 digits of the Masked Aadhar card are hidden and only the last 4 digits are visible.
The following are the steps to download the Masked Aadhar Card from the official website of UIDAI-
- Visit the official website of UIDAI and click on the download Aadhar button
- Now, you’ll be redirected to a new page where you’ll have to enter the Aadhaar Number, Enrolment Number, or VID and solve the captcha and click on the send OTP button
- Now, select the “Do you want a Masked Aadhar” card option
- After that, enter the OTP and click on “Verify and Download” to download the masked Aadhar card
