Since the government has made linking PAN cards and Aadhaar cards mandatory, the process of address change has become much more easy. You can follow these steps to change your Address on your PAN Card using UTITSL-

• Visit the official portal of UTITSL by following this link- https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN_ONLINE/homeaddresschange
• Now, fill out the form on the portal with details like name, address, Aadhaar Number, etc.
• After filling out the form, click on the submit button and an OTP Will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number
• After receiving an OTP, you are required to enter the OTP after which your request will be processed and you’ll request for address change will be registered
• You’ll be notified via SMS about the address change after the processing is done

How to Change Address for PAN Card NSDL?

To change the address on your PAN Card using NSDL, you can follow these steps-

• Visit the official portal of NSDL by following this link- https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
• Now, select the “changes or correction in pan data” from the application type followed by category and find out other details like name, address, Email, Phone Number, etc.
• After filling out the form, click on the submit button and an OTP Will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number
• After receiving an OTP, you are required to enter the OTP followed by uploading the documents listed below for the Address change
• After uploading the documents, your request for address change will be registered
• You’ll be notified via email, or SMS about the address change after the processing is done

Documents Required for PAN Card Change of Address

The following is the list of documents required for Changning address for PAN Card-

For Individuals and HUFs

• Aadhaar Card
• A certificate of address that has been signed by a Parliament member.
• A certificate of address that has been signed by a Gazetted Officer.
• A certificate of address that has been signed by a Municipal Councilor.
• A certificate of address that has been signed by a member of the Legislative Assembly.
• Copy of the landline bill.
• Copy of the broadband connection bill.
• Copy of the water bill.
• Gas connection card.
• Bank account statement.
• Credit card statement.
• Property registration document.
• An allotment letter of accommodation that has been issued by the State Government or the Central Government. However, the letter must not be more than three years old.
• Domicile certificate that has been issued by the government.
• Latest assessment order of the property tax.
• Post office passbook with the address of the applicant mentioned on it.
• Passport.
• Your spouse’s passport.
• Driving License.
• Elector’s photo identity card.

For Companies

• For companies, the certificate of registration of the company issued by the Registrar of Companies has to be submitted.
• In the case of partnership firms, you need to submit a certificate of registration issued by the registrar of firms or a copy of the partnership deed.
• For Trusts, the Trust deed is needed to be submitted
• Credit score

For Individuals (Not a citizen of India)

• Passport
• Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by the Indian Government
• Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by the Indian Government
• Current bank account statement where the individual is residing
• Non-Resident External (NRE) bank account statement in India
• Certificate of Residence in India
• Certificate of registration issued by the Foreigner’s Registration Office that shows Indian address
