Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is a scheme launched to provides protection to the future of the girl child. This scheme was launched to provide an account that provides a high-interest rate with tax-free maturity amount. The idea behind this scheme was to stop the female infanticide against the girl child. The best part of the account is that you need to pay the amount for 14 years but the maturity period is for 21 years.

Swatch Bharat Abhiyan

Swatch Bharat Abhiyan or Swachh Bharat Mission is a nationwide campaign focusing on the mission to cleanliness. Under this scheme, the people will be educated and reminded of the benefit of keeping the environment clean. This also included the installment and toilets in the regions where there is no toilet available. This scheme primarily benefited the villages where the people used to do open defecation. Now the government made toilets across the villages to keep the environment clean and the rate of the defection on open has reduced.
