You can use both online and offline means to transfer funds, however, the most effective way to transfer funds is by using an online banking service as it is fast and convenient for you.

For transferring funds, you can use any of the following given methods, each method has a different method of execution which is as follows-

Using Net Banking

For using Net Banking, you need a laptop or PC to follow this process, however, you can also use your mobile phone browser but, the experience would not be very good. You can follow these instructions to transfer funds online using Net Banking-

  • Visit the official Net Banking portal of Indian Bank and login to your account using your login credentials
  • After logging in, navigate to the fund transfer section
  • You’ll be provided with many options like NEFT, IMPS, RTGS, Self-Pay, Easi Pay, etc. You can select according to your beneficiary.

Adding Beneficiary

  • For using fund transfer services, the very first step is to add beneficiary to your account and you can do that by clicking on the “Manage Beneficiary tab provided on the left side menu
  • After clicking on the menu, click on the “Add Beneficiary” button followed by entering the Account number, name, Bank IFSC Code, etc.
  • Now, confirm the beneficiary details on the next step and by entering the OTP sent on your Registered mobile number
  • After entering the OTP, the bank will take 24-48 hours to add the beneficiary to your account and after this period, you’ll be able to transfer funds
  • For Transferring funds, you can use NEFT, IMPS, or RTGS methods. The process of transferring money is the same for these methods
  • After selecting your desired method of bank transfer, you can simply select your account, a select beneficiary from the given list, enter the amount, etc. and click on the send button
  • Now, you’ll have to enter the Transfer password followed by entering the OTP sent on your mobile number
  • After successfully entering the OTP, your funds will be transferred successfully

Easi Pay

  • For using Easi Pay, just navigate to the Easi Pay section and enter the beneficiary Account number, Amount for transferring funds, IFSC Code, name, mobile number, email ID, and other details
  • After entering the details, you can click on the send button
  • Now, you’ll be prompted for entering the Transferring password followed by entering the OTP send on your registered mobile number
  • After successfully entering the OTP, your funds will be transferred successfully

Using Mobile Banking

For using the Mobile Banking method, you need to install the IndOASIS app and activate your Indian Bank Mobile banking. After activating, you can use Mobile banking methods, the step by step process for mobile banking fund transfer is as follows-

  • Open your IndOASIS app and login to your app using your login credentials
  • After logging in, click on the fund transfer button and you’ll be provided with three options i.e.- Self Pay, Bene Pay, and Easi Pay. For transferring fund, you would need two types of methods which is as follows-

Bene Pay

  • For using Bene pay, you’ll have to add a beneficiary first which can be done by clicking on the manage beneficiary button
  • After clicking on the button, you can add a new beneficiary by providing details like account number, name, mobile number, etc. followed by clicking on the proceed button
  • Now, enter the MPIN followed by entering the OTP send on your Registered mobile number
  • It can take 24-48 hours to approve the beneficiary, after approval of beneficiary is granted by the bank, you can transfer funds by navigating to the fund transfer section of your account and selecting the Bene Pay option
  •  After selecting the option, you’ll have to select your account and the beneficiary account from the list given
  • Now, enter the amount you want to transfer followed by clicking on the proceed button
  • You’ll be prompted for entering the MPIN followed by entering the OTP sent on your registered mobile number
  • After entering these details, your fund transfer will be transferred successfully

Easi Pay (Max Limit-Rs.10,000)

  • In the case of Easi Pay, you’ll have to enter the bank account type, account number, IFSC Code, Transfer Amount, mobile number, name, etc. followed by clicking on the proceed button
  • Now, you’ll be prompted with an MPIN password followed by OTP sent on your registered mobile number
  • You’ll have to enter these details and click on the send button
  • Your fund transfer will be executed successfully

Using BHIM UPI

BHIM UPI is a new method of payment introduced by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) which is a Government of India corporation.

For using the UPI services, you need an App that uses BHIM UPI technology. IndOASIS has this technology built-in and therefore, you do not need to download any other apps.

The following are the methods of fund transfer using BHIM UPI-

Scanning QR

  • Open your IndOASIS app followed by clicking on the BHIM UPI button
  • You’ll be redirected to the BHIM UPI dashboard where you’ll have to click Scan QR
  • Now, locate the beneficiary QR using your mobile camera
  • After scanning the QR code, you’ll have to enter the amount your want to send followed by clicking on the proceed button
  • After clicking on the proceed button, you’ll be prompted to enter the UPI PIN
  • After entering the UPI Pin, your fund transfer will be initiated and your payment will be executed in real-time

Using VPA

  • You can transfer funds using VPA as well, every UPI account comes with a virtual private address using which you can transfer funds
  • From the BHIM UPI dashboard, click on the Pay button followed by selecting UPI ID
  • Now, select your UPI ID followed by entering the UPI ID of the beneficiary, amount to be transferred followed by clicking on the proceed button
  • You’ll be prompted to enter the MPIN, which you’ll have to enter
  • After entering your MPIN, your payment will be initiated successfully

Using A/c No + IFSC Code

  • You can also use A/C + IFSC code for fund transfer by selecting the option from the menu
  • Now, enter the name, account number, Bank IFSC Code, mobile number, etc. details of the beneficiary in the respective fields
  • After entering the details, you’ll be prompted with entering MPIN
  • After entering the MPIN, your payment will be executed in real-time

How can I transfer money from one Indian bank account to another without net banking?

For transferring funds without net banking, there are other methods of fund transfer like UPI, Mobile banking app, etc. You can issue a cheque or even use the offline UPI method to transfer funds.

Can we transfer money without adding beneficiaries to the Indian bank?

For transferring funds without adding a beneficiary, you can use the Easi Pay method to UPI payment using which you can easily pay, however, there are certain limitations like the fund transfer is capped at Rs.10,000 for each transaction and a daily limit of Rs.25,000/-(UPI only)
