How to Apply for SBI Credit Card?

You can apply for a credit card in the SBI Bank using both online and offline methods. The following are the SBI credit card application process that an individual must follow-

Online Apply

  • Visit the SBI Cards official link https://www.sbicard.com/en/eapply.page and click on the apply button
  • Now, select the type of account you want to choose from
  • A short form will appear which you have to fill with details like name, city, email, mobile number, etc.
  • After filling in the details, click on the send OTP button followed by entering the OTP on the given field
  • Now, you’ll be directed to the next section of the form where you have to enter the professional details like income scale, etc.
  • After filling in professional details, you’ll have to enter the resident details on the form followed by clicking on the submit form button
  • After submitting the form, an application number will be generated and you have to now schedule your appointment with the bank representative for the verification
  • For Scheduling the appointment, you have to visit the website again and click on the retrieve application form
  • Now, enter the name and mobile number followed by entering the OTP sent on your mobile number
  • After entering the OTP, you’ll be redirected to the application details section where you have to click on the schedule appointment button
  • Now, select the date, time, and address for the verification process. Make sure you are ready with all the original documents mentioned above.
  • After verification is done, you’ll have to sign the document presented by the bank representative
  • Now, your application will be processed by the SBI and it can take some time for the bank to issue the card

  • Collect all the documents mentioned above and visit your nearest SBI Bank branch
  • Now, ask the bank employee for the credit card application form
  • Fill the form with correct details followed by attaching all the documents
  • Make sure you also carry a passport size photograph of yourself
  • After the credit card application is filled submit the application and documents to the bank representative
  • Your application will be reviewed by the bank representative and notified about any issue
  • After reviewing the application, your application will be further sent for processing
  • It might take some time for the application process to be completed
  • After your application is processed, you will be issued with an SBI Credit Card which will be sent via post
  • After receiving the credit card, you’ll have to activate the credit card to start using it
