- Now, fill the application form with detail like name, contact number, address, Registration details, chassis number, etc.
- Submit the form along with the documents mentioned below to the bank representative
- The bank representative will review your application and your documents and further forwards the request to the relevant department
- After the successful opening of your FASTag account, you’ll be notified about the account opening
- Within 5-7 days, you will receive the FASTag device at your resident address via speed post
- You can then install the device on your vehicle and start using the FASTag device

Yes, you’ll have to remove the FASTag device before selling your vehicle as the device is not a transferrable device and you can also not use this device in any other vehicle as this may as well violate the non-transferrable policy of the FASTag toll tax.

As per the rules issued by the Government, toll plazas have to ensure that their scanner is working fine otherwise they’ll have to let the customer through the toll plaza without charging any tax.
