Assam Arogya Nidhi (AAN) Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria for the Assam Arogya Nidhi (AAN)-

  • An Indian citizen with the residence status of Assam is eligible to participate under this scheme
  • All families with an annual income of less than Rs.5 Lakhs will be covered under this scheme
  • No age limit is there for availing of the scheme
  • Government employee pensioners and their family members will not be covered under this scheme
  • Treatment should be undertaken in any govt. hospital including Govt. Medical Colleges and all reputed Pvt. Hospitals registered under Clinical Establishment Act. anywhere in the state or the country
  • Financial assistance will be provided up to Rs.3 lakhs
  • Any individual who is enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or Atal Amrit Abyan will have to get themselves enrolled under these schemes and if the disease is not covered then only Assam Arogya Nidhi will be considered for his/her profile
  • A person without Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or Atal Amrit Abyan can directly enroll in the Assam Arogya Nidhi scheme

  • Visit the official website of the Assam Arogya Nidhi and download the application form for the Assam Arogya Nidhi
  • Fill out the application form with details like name, address, contact number, gender, hospital name, and Bank account details like Bank IFSC Code, account number, etc.
  • After filling out the application form, collect all the documents mentioned below and make sure that the documents are attested by the required authority
  • Now prepare a file of the application form and the documents required and send it to the Office of the Mission Director of Assam Arogya Nidhi
  • You can speed post the file, upon processing your file by the expert panel of Doctors, the verdict will be given on whether financial assistance will be provided or not
  • If financial assistance is provided then you’ll be reimbursed the funds directly into your bank account.
